Privacy & trust

Private by design. People stay in control.

Company knowledge includes confidential, personal and financial information. MindLoom is built so that everyone gets answers, and nobody sees what they shouldn't.

Our promises

Six ways MindLoom protects your company.

These are built into the product today, not added on later.

Your access rules come with it

If you can't open a file or message in the original tool, MindLoom won't show it to you either.

Every company kept separate

Each organisation's knowledge is stored and searched separately from every other customer's.

Nothing captured without approval

The Mac app does not take screenshots or read what you type. It uploads a task summary from apps you allowlist, and only when you end the session. Chrome screenshots stay on the device until you approve them, and you can hide confidential areas first.

Every answer shows its source

You can always see which document, email or conversation an answer came from, and how recent it is.

Conflicts are flagged, not hidden

When sources disagree, a person reviews it. Admins can correct or retire any answer.

You choose what connects

Each person connects their own Google, Microsoft, Zoom and GitHub accounts and picks the inboxes, folders and calendars to include. An admin connects Slack and can pause a connection.

People approve the important steps

MindLoom suggests. People decide.

Messages

Loombot drafts messages to experts. Nothing is sent until you confirm.

New knowledge

Expert answers and captured workflows are reviewed and approved before anyone else sees them.

Changes to your systems

Proposed code changes are reviewed by an engineer before they are used. Approved workflows guide someone through the steps on a Mac. They do not click through the task on their own.

Common questions

Questions people ask us.

Will MindLoom show me things I'm not allowed to see?

No. MindLoom follows the access rules already set in your tools. If you can't open something there, you won't see it in MindLoom.

Does MindLoom record my screen?

The Mac app does not take screenshots or read what you type. You allowlist the apps, and it uploads a task summary only when you end a session you started. Raw events stay on the Mac. The Chrome extension takes screenshots of the active tab only while capture is on. Those stay on your device until you approve an upload, and you can hide parts or discard a screenshot first.

What happens if an answer is wrong?

Every answer shows its sources so you can check it. Experts approve answers before they become company knowledge, conflicting sources are flagged for review, and admins can fix or remove any answer.

Do we have to replace our current tools?

No. MindLoom connects to the email, chat, calendars, drives and meeting tools you already use. There is nothing to migrate.

Who decides which information is included?

Each person connects their own account and chooses which inboxes, folders, calendars and repositories to include. They can preview a connection and disconnect it. An administrator connects Slack for the organisation, uploads the staff directory, and reviews knowledge before it is published.

Can MindLoom take actions on its own?

Not without a person. It drafts messages and proposed code changes for someone to approve. An approved Skill File can guide someone through the steps on a Mac, and it advances only when that person does the step. It does not run the task by itself.

Security questions?
